I recommend you switch from using HDMI cables to using component (R/G/B RCA-style) cables. HD picture is superior through component cabling, and solves several HD picture issues.

What is happening is that when video resolution changes (like from regular programming to commercials) the video information is poorly sent down the HDMI line. Component cabling from your DVR will eliminate this problem.

I hope that helps.

Hi my nameis Mike Houston of DISH Network and I see you can not watch recordings on TV2and you can't watch and record at the same time. The first thing you will wantto do is make sure the receiver is in Dual mode, I will send a link to helpwith these steps and if the problem still persist please e-mail me at [email protected]. http://www.dishnetwork.com/SupportSection/same-video-2-tvs

While watching a recording of a program that is also on at the same time, the dvr jumps ahead to the LIUVE mode. How do we stop it from jumping ahead?

Check your recording to see what the duration of the recording is. If the whole event is not being recording, that could explain why it is going to live mode. While recording an event, you can watch the recording. Please send me an email with a little more information: what method you are using to record, TV 1 or TV 2, and if this is happening all the time or just began. Here is my email address: [email protected]. Thanks.

Dish Dvr 612.. I accidently deleted my recordings. How do I recover

esriniv

If you have deleted your recordings from your 612 receiver, there is not a way to retrieve those recordings. To prevent this from happening in the future, you can connect an external hard drive to the receiver and transfer the recordings to the external hard drive. I have provided a link with more information about an external hard drive. I hope this helps.

How do I record two channels at once on a DMR-EX773EB DVD Recorder

I cannot find on online manual for this model. If dual channel recording an actual specification for the model? If it really should be able to record two channels at once then it may be similar to the DishNetwork DVR. It has one input but internally splits and creates two different outputs for two different channels.
Check to see if there is a mode setting for single/dual. You will need to set it to "dual". The Dishnetwork DVR has what it calls TV1 and TV2. You can record to TV1 but cannot watch a different channel on TV1 while it is recording. You CAN however watch and record a different channel on TV2 while TV1 is recording. (and vice versa). You can also record two shows while watching other recorded shows.
I'm guessing that you may need to look for some recording options to be able to record two channels at once.

I have a Bose Lifestyle V30 surround sound system and the Bose remote does not function with any of the listed remote codes for the Panasonic. I have a Panasonic TC-P58V10.

You need to use the IR emitter that came with the Bose V30 system. Bose employs a proprietary RF frequency remote which communicates to the hidden central control head. You plug in the emitter to the processor unit and run the emitters to the IR 'eye's' of the equipment you want to control. Once all this is done then and only then can you go through the remote codes to control a particular device. The Bose V30 has 2 IR emitters that come with the unit to control 2 devices. You can expand on that buy buying a IR emitter bridge that has several inputs for other devices.

Now when it comes to a DVR I am not so sure the Bose universal remote will work all the playback and FF and record control buttons and a DVD or VCR. I hear there is a new BOSE remote on the market that can do that but I have yet to see it in person or ask a sales rep about it. Sometimes they are non-tech's so its no help : (

Copy shows from dishnetwork 510 receivers to external hd

ic_technolog,

External Hard Drives are not supported on the 510 receiver. The 211, 211k, 411, 612, 622, 722, 722k, and 922 are all capable of having an external hard connected via the USB port on the receiver and a one time activation fee of $40. I hope this helps.

Have audio through TV can't get audio through Bose

It sounds like your signal path from the dvd is going through your TV, rather than through your Bose V30. Either find an audio out port on your TV and route it back to an aux in on the V30, or, preferably, run your DVR and your DVD to the V30, and then from the V30 to your TV.

I hope that helps.
