Question about Washing Machines
I have a Kenmore series washer. When the water is filling, the pressure will suddenly decrease and start sounding like water hammering. I have unhooked and checked the hoses for blockages, found none. Could it be the water inlet valve?
It does sound like you have a inlet valve going bad.
i assume this happens on both the hot and cold water sides. if not try and switch hose and see what happens if the water pressure drops then replace the water valve.
