SOURCE: we pulled our powerfit 3006

Hi,

It stands for a lost signal in the console wire harness. It could be one of the wires has been broken or there is a connection loose. unplug and replug all connections. Then check for continuity in all the wires in the harness.

Follow the below guide for the same :

http://sportsartamerica.com/SAF/support/technicalsupport/techtips/Treadmills/DC_Incline_Calibration.pdf

The above .pdf file is a generic file and you might have to do certain adjustments as per your product.

Once you get the voltage to read correctly by manually moving the shaft and gears, you'll be golden.
The vr gear is inside the incline motor box. The gray one with the two stickers. The 4 black screws come off--they're pretty long. Then, you just tap on the sides to get it loose. Then, just pull the cover straight up.

More than likely your motor just got jammed due to the calibration being off. Be careful there, because if you do not unjam correctly, and you turn it on and try to incline it, it will burn your incline fuses.

When I did it, I burned the fuse and stripped plastic gears first. I then had to order a new fuse, gear, and recalibrate again. Not terrible once you get the VR gear box open.

Use page 2 for the electrical calibration:
you will need to test the connections at the point where they plug into the board as in illustration #3 and use the model #1210 zero incline voltages.

So at the lowest point of incline it should give a reading of 1.20 vdc and if it is higher, turn the gear until it gives the proper dc voltage reading.

Let me know,if needed further assistance.

Hope i helped you.

Thanks for using ' Fixya ' and have a nice day!!

Hi my power first t960 treadmill stops working. it turn's on. startup beeps are ok. display turn's on and showing regular digits. but non of keys working and consul dos not response to any key. thanks

Check the cable from console to motor control board. It would be a detachable connector on both ends. Try removing and reconnecting it. Sometime such problems can occur because of the bad contacts of connectors. Please remember to remove the power before attempting any service inside treadmill.

How do i fix a lifegear treadmill 97520?

Try below:

ERROR CODE
DESCRIPTION
E1
Speed error (The treadmill running speed is 3.2 kph faster than the displayed
speed). The treadmill will stop immediately when the console detects this error.
E2
Speed error (The treadmill running speed is 3.2 kph slower than the displayed
speed). The treadmill will stop 16 seconds later after the console detects this
error.
Troubleshooting / Resetting error codes
In the rare event of the treadmill displaying an error code ("E" followed by a number), simply reset
the computer by:
1. Step off the treadmill. Ensure that you are clear of the running belt.
2. Turn the treadmill off at the master power switch located near the motor housing.
WARNING: Ensure nothing is positioned near or under running belt which may possibly block
it's normal operation.
3. Turn the treadmill on at the master power switch.
4. Ensure that the Safety Tether Key is securely and properly installed onto the console or just
reinstalling the Safety Tether Key can also reset the display.
If the above does not clear the error code, please contact the nearest Dealer/Service Center

Treadmill not working and alarm sound when plug in

Does the display give you an error code. I'm having a similar issue but all LEDs on my display are lit with a constant beep and still have not gotten resolved. Have you tested the power source and fuse and the reset circuit breaker. I am waiting on a new reset circuit breaker part to come in and hopefully this fixes the issue. I will let you know.

your posting is a year old have you since got the treadmill fixed and what was it

There is a E-02 on my evolution treadmill, what can be the problem??

this is the answer:

Probable Cause This error message almost always indicate an upper PCA problem when they are consistently displayed. Failures causing this error message to be displayed are rare.
Corrective Action If the error message is consistently displayed when the unit is powered up, the upper PCA should be replaced. It is possible to see this message displayed intermittently due to external causes. If the units A.C. input significantly dips during the power up test sequence the test could fail resulting in this message being displayed. Treadmills operating on non-dedicated A.C. circuits may see this message displayed on an intermittent basis.
God bless you

My nec vt48 projector gets hot and turns off. It gives off 3 beeps a few seconds after

This problem and the error beep codes indicate a lamp that needs to be replaced. The correct part number for the lamp is VT85LP. Basically the lamps are rated with a life expectancy of 2000 hours. At the 2001 lamp hour (3001 in eco-mode) the LCD projector will power on, but not display an image, due to the indicator requesting the lamp be replaced and the lamp hours reset (hold the help button on the remote for 10 seconds when powering it on).
