Green screen some times i get a fuzzy image with green mixed in after it has been turned on for awhile and it is on all chanels not just some ,when i go to aux or antenna it gives me a beautifull blue screen the green is not there , untill i switch back to tv, also after its been off for awhile, its ok good picture, after about 45 minutes it starts to fuzz up with a green ghost tent. could this possiblybe a bad ground or loose conection.

No. This is not a bad fuse. Its a dry solder near the green convergence IC. Take it apart and check for dry solders. Its not that hard to fix but if you don't have experience in electronics i advice you take it to a tech.. Shouldn't cost you much anyway..

Today my 55" vizio screen popped and then turned red. I unpluged and restarted everything and now the audio is on, the chanels change, but the screen is completely read. some images are readable.

If this is a VO47LFHDTV20A TV set, the problem is most likely your LVDS(cable from the main board to the t-con)cable is faulty. When you turn the set on, do you have a red screen instead of the standard blue screen? Do you also have red tints on all images on all inputs? If this is the case, your LVDS cable is bad. If you are comfortable opening up your set, track down where the LVDS cable goes into the t-con board. Turn on the set, and wiggle the cable, if the red tinting goes away, you will need a LVDS cable, about $24 part.

My LCDTV has a problem, Model number is 6626LCT, Now on to the problem, While doing yearly cleaning on my tv as normal, after i plugged it in it was normal for 40 seconds, It flickered and the screen went...

Only suggestion is if set was plugged in when you did what you did--unplug it and any box or receiver plugged in and wait a while--plug back and let the equipment try to reboot.

I have a sony bravia 46'' lcd 2x hdmi tv when I GO THRU MORE THEN ABOUT 10 CHANELS KIND OF QUICKLY the tv goes to a green screen and stays on a green screen until i restart the tv is this norm

I find it unlikely this is normal.

I am not a betting man but..........

What I would do is invest the time to contact Sony customer service and talk to someone who can access their database.

They like other major companies keep extensive records of every complaint recorded---see if anyone else had this issue.

Sony has had some beauties---Recently an issue where heat warps the door made of plastic in front of the lamp resulted not in a free part but free repair and or replacement of the 3-4 year old sets involved.

let me know if you have questions

I have a 2 year old LG LCD TV (model 42LG60) and I am having problems with the screen. I turn it on and everything is fine for a few minutes and then the screen goes to red or green lines that are fuzzy....

Not really a solution, sorry, but I've got the very same problem. I haven't noticed the time before tv faults, but nontheless, it greenscreens or like in your case, redscreens as well. I've been told to open the back, which I did to check the status of the capicitors, which I've done. But, the capacitors "seem" fine. No bulging or popped tops. So, I'm at a stand still...not sure what to do at this point. If someone gives you solution, I sure would appreciate your forwarding it on to me. Thanks. Robert
