I cant say that this is the problem sor sure but the cleaning unit will do what you describe if the cleaning solution levelis too low. You may just need to add fluid to it.

I have a scratch on the top of my ceramic stovetop. How can I repair it?

Instructions for repairing scratches on ceramic cooktop
Things You'll Need:
  • Nonabrasive cleaner
  • Dishwashing liquid
  • Cloth
  • Razor scraper
  • Ceramic crème
  • Sponge or cloth(s)
  1. 1 Clean the cooktop with a nonabrasive cleaner, such as a glass cleaner or warm water mixed with a few drops of dishwashing liquid. Wipe with a clean, soft cloth.
  2. 2 Use your fingernail or the flat edge of a razor scraper to remove any raised surfaces on the scratch.
  3. 3 Apply a ceramic repair crème, available at most hardware or home repair stores, to the scratched area. Work in gently with a soft cloth or sponge.
  4. 4 Allow the crème to sit for 15 to 20 minutes. Wipe away with a clean, damp, soft cloth.
  5. 5 Repeat as necessary until the scratch is no longer visible.

I have a new ES-LA93 razor which I love but I have one question. After shaving I press the [SELECT] button to choose Clean/Dry/Charge. The process finishes and all seems fine but the CLEAN and DRY course...

If you clean the razor every day, the CLEAN and DRY lights flash repeatedly to show you that the cleaning has completed. You should be able to confirm that this is correct by NOT cleaning it one day. You should see that those lights don't flash then. I know this because I clean the razor twice a week rather than every day. On the days that I clean it, the lights flash. On the days that I don't clean it, the lights don't flash.

I have a bad stain on my ceran top stove. It is like a hard glue, which boiled over while steaming broccoli. How do I get this out please?

This has worked for me when I've melted plastic on my stove top, or had other stains that did not come off easily. Use a razor blade to scrape off all you can. Then, when it is cool, use stovetop cleaner (I use Weiman's) and a no scratch scrub sponge. I don't know what your stain is, but the razor blade will probably work.

Non cleaning razor

Dear Freddofrog,
please ensure you have removed the plastic plugs from the cleaning fluid container. If you have removed these i would suggest that the fluid contaner is faulty, your place of purchase should exchange this for you with no problem.

Repairing electric razor

Questions,
What can be done to eliminate self-starting; slide switches which have become exremely sensitive to the touch and often times turn on when set down after use.
Slide switch covers no longer return to full "off" position. Ive had to use scotch tape to prevent them powering on when placed in suitcase, for example. Is this problem characteristic of Braun razors?
Can a nonprofessional open up casing to administer a very thorough cleaning? And where would one get an instructional schematic? Can one be obtained from Braun?

Thx!! Vince

Cleaning glass on oven door

The marks may be on the inside part of the glass. If so then the door will need to be taken apart for cleaning. You can use a razor blade scraper and glass cleaner to soften the buildup. Self cleaning won't remove if it is on the inside.
