That means the pump needs to be primed by running water through the wand. Push the water button. You will hear the pump change tone when it primes and the light or message will disappear. If you have scale build up in your solenoids it can cause them to stick and not open. This will not allow the machine to flow water and you will get this message.

Led reads "ventilate". What do I do?

Hi
Ventilate means that you need to run water through the system.. Open the knob on the right side of the machine if it a Master 5000, or push the right button and light it up, then open the knob if its a Palazzo.

Ventilating Machine

Hi,

Can you get a full cup of water (tea) or just a half cup?
If you only get a half cup then you have to replace your flow meter in the machine.

How often do you descale your machine?

Ventilate!

Can you get water out of the machine by pushing the hot water button?

This is how you would remove the ventilate message in the first place, but if no water comes out then the machines electro-valve is not opening and you will not be able to remove the ventilate message. You will have to get the machine serviced.

I would also give descaling the machine a try before servicing the machine.
