Question about Maytag Neptune MDG5500AW Gas Dryer
Long time to dry is a venting problem, check to make sure the venting isnt kinked or damaged... u can check by removing vent to dryer and running a load if drys faster than u know u must remove debri or replace venting or clean out ur ducting .....go outside when unit is on u should feel air if venting properly outisde....
tip u can use a leaf blower from inside and blow that line outside...

Contrawise it's actually possible for the thermostats to be corroded and the heat barely coming on, or the air going in to be supersaturated. Go fix up your vent piecewise until it's all satisfactory and/or get the brush-and-extension kit you put on a drill (and a power drill of some sort, if one's not handy) to clean your duct out. Put the 10 pounds of lint in the compost.
