I am not able to format my pen drive (by 17 users)
Last night I took my pen drive to my friends place to transfer data but was not able to open it but the drive was getting detected but was not able to open it and gave an error(The USB composite device is a HI-SPEED USB DEVICE and will function at a reduced speed
when plugged into a Non-HI-SPEED port.
There are no Hi-SPEED USB host controllers installed on this computer)later on I came at my home and tried the same pen drive on my computer it was detected with no errors but when i click on the drive it tels me to format it but dosen't allow me to format too
Pls help I dont want to lose my data

Hi!
I have A same Problem, but I can Format it and Some files are loading in it but in some files It is showing Cyclic Data Redundancy Check .
Plz.... Help me...............

am not able to copy data onto my pendrive. It says DATA ERROR(cyclic redundancy check)

Wizthe second thing could be virus from ur friends pc.. it can cause such thing of asking to format.. so u should use pendrive recovery software available on net to recover ur data..

when connect my pen drive it shows in my computer but when i click on it it shows please connect drive, also it shows full use but 0 bytes , and also it can not format

My pen drive get detected and when click to open it shows the message:
" PLEASE INSERT THE DISK INTO DRIVE I"
MY ANTIVIRUS UNABLE TO SCAN MY PENDRIVE AND SHOWS MESSAGE "Error occurred while scanning MBR sector of the 2. physical disk. Error reading sector" . GIVE ME A SOLUTION.
