Question about Blackberry Curve 8350i
The trackball is easily removed for cleaning by just pulling the trim ring around the trackball off with your fingernail. Remove the trackball and clean with alcohol. Reverse the process to clean.

The quickest and easiest way to clean it if you're not at home or dont have the time or space to take apart your blackberry trackball and do a thorough clean, is just this;
1 - Get any piece of flat, new paper.
2 - Turn your blackberry upside down (trackball side down)
3 - Slide your blackberry around in circles and over the stuck trackball part.
4 - Keep doing that until it clicks when it rolls, like normal.
Quick way to unstick.

It not a big deal, just use a sliced plastic straw to clean it. Lots of people have known this trick and they have proven it useful and effective. I found this trick at: http://www.unique-stuff.net/fixing_sticky_blackberry_trackball.html
If you still cant get your blackberry trackball roll, they also have some other tricks to try.

You would just have to use a pin and pull out carefully the ring around the trackball. then this is the most imp part take the trackball carefully. you can go here and see how the trackball looks like
take a few pics of the trackball from the sides.
i made a mstake of not taking the pics of the trackball. from the side open the trackball carefully.be carefull because all the stuff inside are tiny. there shall be something very small stick kind of stuff
those are the rollers.clean the rollers it may have something stuck on it. remove those.now is the use of the pics you have taken. fix the trackball lookin at the pics.
put everything back to how was and your scroll will work perfectly
because i didnt take the pics i didnt know how to put it back and then i broke my trackball
Sorry for using so much 'carefully' in the solution
