Question about Acer AL1916W 19" LCD Monitor
I have one of these and I just LOVE this screen.
My problem is that the screen comes on for a few seoonds then goes off but the light is still green so some signal is still being received obviously.
Now it doesn't come on at all but still senses an input signal.
Could either the backlights or power supply be the problem.
Also how do you get the power supply out. I have opened my monitor up but can't get the power supply cage out.
Is there a guide to dissassemble this monitor?
As you can see at photos I post on photobucket.com, you will see mot monitors are bad due to bad caps. http://s807.photobucket.com/home/budm/allalbums
You should replace them with LOW ESR 105C caps, I use PANASONIC FM or FC series from DIGIKEY, otherwise they will not last.
