Problem to see any document on my scanner

my Scanmaker 3800 would not scan any document.

Everything work fine, but I only see lines on my screen.

- Hi,
Thank for your help, that's what I did.

I reinstalled the driver from Microtek.com, and it work fine.
I had to calibrate the scanner a few time, and now it work like new,
that's because I pull the scanner apart and cleaned everything inside, before I try to download the new driver.

Is the scanner not recognised or is it Not scanning?

Is the comp recognising the scanner? If not reinstall the driver. Run scandisk on the drive where the OS is installed. Try uninstall and reinstall.

Pls check if the scanner platten is moving, it could be a hardware problem.
