Help i have a Samsung YP-T9 and it froze

i was downloading then it just says theres been a problem...etc. so its stuck on Transferring Files DO NOT DISCONNEct what do i do?
My yp-t9 keeps turning itself on. The rec/menu trick didn't work, neither did formatting. The battery is soldered, so unplugging for 10 sec to power down a restart is not simple. My yp-t9 is a beautiful but useless piece of gadgetry. I hope Samsung notes the yipe-t9 freezing issues. Anyone out there with a solution? thanks.
