Some times you wont be able to see it on your computer. but some will be detected by your media players only when you transfer files you will see that it is being used. try using different media players like REAL1 PLAYER 11 i use this for everything i need.

Computer not picking up the MP3 player

Some of mp3 player when we plug in to computer it requires the driver. But mostly is not so when you encountered your mp3 not recognized by the computer, try to use another USB cable. We don't know if the cable are bad or good, sometimes USB cable work fine and sometimes not. So use another cable.

Cannot connect

Did you run the installation CD before you plugged the mp3 player into the computer? If not, disconnect the mp3 player from computer, uninstall all the Sansa software on your computer, and reinstall the software from the installation CD.

If the uninstall/reinstall fails, update the firmware on the player from Sandisk's website.

Good luck!

Uninstall all of the Sansa software.
Go to the Sandisk website and download the clean version of the software.
Reinstall the software.
Make sure your sansa player is not plugged into the computer until AFTER you have finished this process.
