Question about Wacom Intuos3 Graphic Tablet
lately i can't get the pen to draw anything but solid lines with no variations no matter how i adjust pressure...it works on my older PC but on my new PC I can only get one thickness of line, ...I want to taper lines like a brush, but this thing isn't working. I have played with sensitivity settings and given Photoshop all the memory i can, but still this thing does not work right at all! Help!
a second issue is photoshop related...using the pad and pen in Photoshop, there is lately a big delay (1-2 seconds or more!) from drawing to seeing results, and that is a frustrating impossible mess...
Can i get this expensive product to work right? What do i have to do?
A 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
Best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
The service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.

OK, I found the problem -- if you open photoshop with the mouse (whether it be through the quicklaunch bar, start menu, or desktop icon), the pressure sensitivity doesn't work. If you open it with the stylus or function button (I have a function button mapped for photoshop now because of this, since there's no icon on my tablet's display with how I have my display set up) the pressure sensitivity works fine.
A quick KIND of fix, but until Adobe actually does something about it, this is probably the easiest way to do it.

Try holding down whichever key on the keyboard that seems to be the culprit and then click with your tablet mouse. I used to have this problem with my bamboo and I'm using Mac. For me, it was like the control button was being held down when I'd let the computer idle for a long time.
