Question about GE Refrigerators
Locate the filter look for any part numbers on it, some common ones are the oil can one a MWF, or a GSWF, MSWF, which are longer filters..
remove cover if its a long one in corner and twist or turn it out..
if it is an oil can style just remove by turning it out..
there is no need to shut off the water there is an internal shutoff .
replace filter and u should be set ,, hope this helps
