If it power cycles at first power on and then it comes on after a few times -the problem is bad capacitors in the power supply

Oil leak-coming from cover for timimg belt

Hello I am a Guru from Fixya,I will answer your question,You have three seal behind the timing cover you have 2 cam seal that could be leaking and a crank seal. You replace them seals and I am sure you will stop your oil leak.It is a pretty good job to get into. You have to take the motor mount off out of the way ,take the cover off out of the way, take the timing belt off out of the way and make sure you have all your timing marks alined before taking the timing belt off,You have to take both timing gears off out of the way and then you can see the camshaft seal to replace and then take the timing gear off the crank and then you can see the seal on the crank to replace and then put it all back togeather. and your oil leak is cured.

Need to replace & install a new timing belt on a 2002 mitsubishi galant es 2.4L

All Mitsubishi cars pretty much hide the water pump under the timing belt. You should buy all new belts for the car and if you have 150,000+ miles consider replacing the water pump at the same time. You will have to take off the power steering belt, the alternator belt, the upper belt cover, support the motor, take off the motor mount, jack up the right front corner of the car, take off the front right tire, take off the engine plastic under cover, line up the TDC timing mark, take off the lower pulleys, take off the lower engine cover, observe the timing marks/arrows and highlight with paint, take off the timing belt, counter balancer belt if there is one, and now you can unbolt the water pump, scrape the gasket, and replace it. Now the good news, if you have tools,a compressor, an air gun(for lower pulley bolt), patience , and four to eight hours to kill, you can actually save money and do it your self.

I check the timing belt on my 2.4 sohc Galant. It seems intake. could the balaence belt cause the engine to make nosies and suddenly stop and not start.

No, the balancer belt just spins to cancel annoying or sometimes harmful vibration. It should not affect anything unless it breaks and a piece of it gets underneath the timing belt. In this case it could throw the cam and crankshaft timing off, and possibly damage the valves. Remove the valve cover and look for excessive clearance on the valves. If things are not right up top you will have to run a compression test or dig down to the bottom and check the timing marks. If the valves are bent you will have to pull the head to replace them.

TAKING PICTURE TO SLOW

Here are some tips to make your camera faster. 1- Decrease picture resolution when you do not need that much resolution. The highest resolution have a big load of data to write, taking some time. 2- Turn off flash when possible. Every flash unit needs some time to charge and this can be time consuming. 3- The camera can take some time autofocusing. Press halfway the shutter until the camera locks its focus, than press the shutter all the way. This will help you to take even better pictures. Good luck!
