    Yeah the printer of my mp160 works but the scanner is incompatible with Window Vista - f.ing annoying - how to fix?

    I have not taken any step. Simply trying to install the software and getting the alert of incompatibility with windows vista.

    I tried to go ahead and download the printer software (I have windows vista) and it stopped my internet explorer from working for some odd reason. I have been unable to find the compatibility software for it on canon.com, any and all help would be fantastic

I have heard that when the canon printer says the in cartridge is empty there is still ink in it. If this is true how can I use the remaining ink?
I heard that there is a 'button' that one can tape down and get the cartridge to print more copies. Where is this button?

you can see that there are device-drivers for Windows Vista and Windows 7, both 32-bit and 64-bit.

Canon MP180
go to the part of the program that deals with compatibility of programs. I never liked vista so I never installed it. anyway in the compatibility box choose windows xp and run it. worse comes to worse go to www dot downloads dot com and download the drivers for your printer FOR vista.
