Question about Lexmark X3470 All-In-One InkJet Printer
The cover has been probably opened too widely and the the lever on the cover open sensor is knocked off the switch assembly. If you teer off the cover, you will see a little plastic lid on the right (where electric cables and switches are) This switch has come out its switch. With some fiddling around you should be able to put it back in place.

Open the cover.In right side you'll see the cover sensor.It's a plastic lever, which does down to the bottom of printer.The top side of this lever usually breaks.
