hello all ,
I got a new Nokia 3500 c and was really satisfied wid it for all the good spec .. What made me more happy was that it could use J2ME Application So i wanted to use my applications like Yahoo!Go, Opera browser, Catalogs,Berggi. But i was really disheartned when none of it worked..
I always get only one error message that "Subscribe to packed data" Though i have gprs workin and setting saved but still its not working...
Some of my friends using nokia said that there is need to set the GPRS settings manually but i'm new to nokia and have no ideas about ... kindly help me with this issue ..
As i wanna know how how to set the acess point manually...

- dude, nokia itself provides softwares like yahoo!go , catalogs inbuilt in 3500c which require internet access. Its not just abt yahoo im but also regarding all the apps that u can dwnld from the web. There must be some prob, newayz thanks for ur soln.Clarification Request

Guys i figured out a solution to these problems here just go to this website http://www.dotsis.com/mobile_phone/showthread.php?p=812285 you have 2 download links in the below just download it and then unzip it tranfer those file to your phone it show promt u as new setting found just save it the go to settings>Configuration>Default config settings>select the new settings and activate default in all application and now jus check out apps like operamini it works fine but this works for airtel vodafone and many selected service providers if u want more information just send me a mail my mail address in Flinsons@gmail.com.Fell free to contact me

just go to settings
& then configuration settings
& then personal configuration settings
& press option
& then add new
& then access point,,,,,,,
no username & password.......
but if it is there username & password then just ask to customer care center
but u have to ask ur customer care center abt access pt name.....
if u don't satisfy then mail me....my email.id is mailmesweetsidd@gmail.com...

hello dost, i want to tell u that airtel gprs is working on operamini on my nokia 3500c so it should work on ur mobile . some help can i give u is that for manual settings u can go on web icon in menu.in it u can u can go to settings .in settings u can go to configuration settings & can sellect the gprs connection u want to bowse .than u can go to opera mini to browse on that gprs connection.if u have something to tell me about nokia 3500c pls tell me i m waiting for u

wel its not cellpones fault in nokia3500c service provider needs 2 activate d settings n plz see tat in d settings u hav receivd chek tat whether in item supported web, yahoomidlet, r der or not if not ask 4 new settings.
den cal ur customer care n ask dem 2 activte ur gprs settings.
den also if prob persisit den do wat i did x-change ur sim wid one having nokia 60 series or 70 seris fone eg;nok6600,7610.
den ask 4 d new settings 4rm service provider follow as instructed in settings den cal customer care and ask dem 2 activate d settings,

even after having gprs connection active i m not able to connect to the web thru opera mini but the default browser is working fine.

well i am using nokia 3500c and using bpl gprs in mumbai (india) default browser works fine but opera mini, yahoo go!, instant messenger or any other java based inter application are not detecting the gprs and says "subscribe to packet data" or "check connection settings" please help me through this.
