Question about Computers & Internet
Help!!! I have been using a Logitech Cordless Optical Mouse for about 2 1/2 years, and I am very pleased with it. Today 2-20 I was using it and all of a sudden it stopped working. I installed new batteries, still does not work. Pls help, what do I do?
In the future you would help out if you gave a mode #
However, usually, aside from being dead, their are two good
things to try before despair:
So, to review basically, you want to try and clear away and particles or build up from the view of the laser (on the bottom of the mouse)
And/or you will unplug the USB base and remove batteries, reboot (let Windows fully load) - replace the base and the batteries to the mouse, and finally if no recognition, look for a button somewhere on both the base and the mouse and hold it down for a good few seconds.
If you still have no joy, please post back here with model and a more specific detail of how it stopped working.
*Last Gem of Knowledge*
It has been known to happen many times, that if you contact Logitech and explain that your mouse stopped working by no fault of your own, Logitech will replace the mouse for free
