Make sure that you have the secondary monitor enabled on your computer. Check your display driver configuration program or the Windows display properties.

Example: Intel Display Clone

Hooked hdmi dongle to projector. Used kindle fire hdx. Picture works fine but no sound from projector speakers. No sound from kindle speakers. Need to use kindle headphone jack for sound.

follow this steps and fix it. God bless you
Check the system requirements on the Bluetooth dongle. If your system does not fit all the requirements, the device is not going to work. The requirements for the Bluetooth dongle are printed in the user manual and packaging. You may compare this to what is running on the computer by clicking "Start," "Control Panel" and "System." This displays the hardware running on the computer.
    • 2
Disconnect the Bluetooth dongle, restart the computer, then plug it back into a USB port. If you power on the computer with the dongle already instead, the system may not detect the equipment. Restarting the computer and performing this action helps correct the problem.
    • 3
Remove the Bluetooth dongle from the USB port and plug it into a different connection. Some USB ports fail to detect certain computer hardware. Changing the connection port fixes this.
    • 4
Install the driver on the provided driver installation CD. Without the driver, the computer is unable to detect and use the dongle. Insert the driver installation CD into the disc drive of the computer, then follow the on-screen steps to install the driver onto the system.

Which cords and/or plugs should I use inorder to connect a projector to a computer

if your desktop doesn't have a standard vga socket then you can get a dvi adapter that fits onto the end of a vga lead. you will still need a seperate cable for audio as a dvi connection only does video.

Can I use the speakers for my projectors

Generally, projectors don't have speaker inputs.

If you want to avoid an A/V receiver, connect the PC speakers directly to the DVD player.

Connecting a computer to the projector
Connect the projector to a computer using a VGA cable (included with the projector). In addition, you can connect an audio cable from the computer to the projector if you with to use the internal speaker of the projector. An optional USB cable connection is also available.
1 - VGA cable connection
2 - Optional audio cable connection
3 - Optional USB cable connection

I have a fuji z20fd, and have used it many many times to uploads pictures onto my computer before, but now they wont? So I dont understand. It says in the usb icon that the usb cable is not plugged into...

Try NOT connecting your camera to your computer.

The best way to download pictures from your camera to your computer involves removing the memory card from the camera and plugging it into a card reader (either built-in to the computer or connected via USB or FireWire). This is likely to be faster than connecting the camera to the computer, and won't run down your camera's batteries.

Once the card is plugged in, it will appear to your computer as a removable drive. You can use the operating system's drag&drop facility to copy pictures from the card to the computer's hard drive, the same way you copy any other files. Or you can use any photo cataloging program.

DEAR SIR,

The best way to download pictures from your camera to your computer can be done by two means....

1.INSTALL THE SOFTWARE C.D GIVEN ALONG WITH THE CAMERA IN YOUR NOTE BOOK....
THEN SWITCH ON YOUR CAMERA AND CONNECT THE CAMERA TO YOUR P.C VIA U.S.B CABLE,AND WAIT FOR FEW SECONDS FOR THE P.C TO DETECT YOUR CAMERA,ONCE THE CAMERA IS DETECTED IT WILL ASK YOU,WHETHER TO COPY YOUR CAMERA IMAGES TO YOUR P.C

2..Remove the memory card from the camera and plugging it into a card reader (either built-in to the computer or connected via USB or FireWire). This is likely to be faster than connecting the camera to the computer, and won't run down your camera's batteries.

Uploading pictures onto my PC

It took me a while:

go to Tools (bottom centre)
scroll to #8 -- USB Mass memory device
Plug in the "official" cable
Ignore the computer's complaint that it can't find the software
Press OK on the #8 "connect" option
Your phone screen will go blank shortly

Give the computer a moment and it will tell you it's found a new memory device and will show you the contacts. You can copy to and from the memory card -- pictures will be in my_pictures, etc.

When you're finished, press OK to disconnect the phone -- then unplug the cable.

Enjoy!!

Cheers, Dallas

Connecting Dell laptop to Infocus LP820

The USB cable doesn't transmit Video. You need to plug in the VGA cable. The "DVI" port on the LP820 is not a a DVI but a M1 Digital port and won't work with DVI unless you get a converter.

Bad connection between laptop and lcd projector

First, check all plugs and make sure there are no broken or bent pins in them. If the projector you are using have a replacable cable try to replace it to see if the cable is the problem. (borrow a cable from a friend or relative first so you don't buy one if it is not needed.)

If that doesn't fix it, try to connect a different computer to your projector to see if that is better. If so, the output port on your computer may be bad.

Also try to hook your compuber to a different monitor to see if that works. If no computers are able to make a good picture on your monitor, the monitor is at fault.

The fact that you can change the picture quality by wiggling the cable, and that it starts to search for a signal suggests that the cable or the plugs are at fault, but having the wrong resolution set up on your computer may also affect the image quality. Again, try to use a different computer as a source to eliminate (or confirm) your computer being the problem.
