Question about ViewSonic VX2235WM Monitor
You didn't indicate if there was any power to the monitor (green light). Try flipping the switch on your power strip, if your monitor is connected to it.
Try connecting another monitor to your computer to see if your monitor or computer is the problem.
Could be the VGA cable (cable from monitor to computer) or VGA card (inside the computer).
Just some thoughts - please provide more details, if necessary.
