Empty recycle bin. Format the drive with the original drive software, use the CD that came with the drive, or you can download it online.
Writing zeros may repair the drive, and bring it back to life.

Good luck

My Seagate ST3200822AS 200 GB Hard Drive appears to only have 13.6 GB of disk space

When you look at the hard drive make certain you can see all the files including Hidden files. I suspect you might have either back up files on it, or system files.
To show the files to do this (In Windows 7) by opening windows Explorer and going to where it says "organise" and clicking on it then selecting "folder and Search options".
Click view, then select "show hidden files, folders and drives.
Deselect by clicking it - "Hide protected operating system files"
Windows will warn you but click apply.
Next when you look at that drive all files will be shown.
You can then select and delete the files you want to get rid of.
REMEMBER to return the two above options to there correct settings when you have done or you could delete files on the rest of you system you need.
It should be possible to wipe all these hidden files, by doing a reformat of the drive.

Camcorder full but all videos were deleted

connect camcorder to computer and check whether it shows as a drive letter in Computer. If not, you need to take out the memory card and then connect it to computer with a card reader, you can then download this data recovery program, recommended asoftech data recovery that helped me before.

Cancel ''write protect'' on USB memory stick

If no physical switch, then check the software that came with. Some sticks have a software component that recognizes when you plug the stick in and gives you options for viewing and launching applications from the stick. There may be controls you can use to change the write protect.
If not, or you can also try, opening a view to the stick from Windows Explorer and just delete files from there as you would from any drive. Windows will prompt you to confirm delete. I wouldn't delete any auto-load or setup apps that would be used to connect to another computer.

My 1 gig flash drive has only 10 megabytes on it but claims to be full.

Maybe the temporary files was not deleted when you erased or deleted it, you can reformat the flash drive to remove temporary/backup files. or you can click on tool when you browse it then go to folder options and select: Show hidden files and erased it. Hope it helps...
