Is the machine in 'bobbin wind' mode? There may be a lever that needs to be moved. If nothing else, take the machine back to where you got it and see if anyone there knows what is going on. If you have a 'bad' machine, get a replacement.

Needle bar won't complete a full rotation, what's the fix?

The basting stitch lockout mechanism is either stuck or out of position.
You can try manually pulling down on the needle bar to see if it will lock back in, but it probably won't. May need to take it to a repair shop.

The 19, 20 and 21 dials on my Bernina 831 sewing machine are stuck. What should i do?

Is your button hole dial activated? Sounds like a dumb question but if the indicator on the buttonhole dial is not at the top it will lock the other dials. The only other thing is that if above is correct, you will have to find a dealer who can carefully oil and get the dials to rotate again. It is v tedious and one has to often disassemble the stitch width, needle position dials and carefully force the buttonhole dial while lubricating the mechanism to get it all working again

Main motor lock, inappropriate needle position, after broken needle

The broken needle may be lodged in the bobbin housing. If you cannot locate, take it in for professional servicing. You may have put the timing out of whack.

Needle position won't hange

When you turn the machine on does the needle bar initialize? I.e. Move to the left, then to center.

The needle threader is stuck down on my Emerald 116

Typically the threading device moves downward and then rotates sideways. Which function is stuck? Is the shaft bent? In any case, the threader apparatus is removable. If you need help disassembling, get a service manual for that model (probably about $20 on the internet).

My janome 11000 memorycraft's needle threader has jammed in the down position and cannot be moved

Thanks to floraq803, we have our 11000 working again. The needle threader was stuck in the down position. We turned off the machine, and turned the wheel (which controls where the needle is) until the needle threader bar was straight (approximately 1/2 way between the needle being all the way down and all the way up). Turned on the machine and the threader came back up again. Now back to sewing.

Can only move the hand wheel one way

This is tech crazy

The most important element of a stitch mechanism is the shuttle hook and bobbin assembly. The bobbin is just a spool of thread positioned underneath the fabric. It sits in the middle of a shuttle, which is rotated by the machine's motor in synch with the motion of the needle.
so either there is rotational problem in the motor or the needle position is altered .just check out for it

Kindly rate me on the above said solution

Needle locked in right position

Hello,

Remove the needle holder using a tool suitable for it and remove the needle and fix it again in the correct position and continue the stitching in zig zag .

Thank You
