If this laptop has a normal wireless card built into it then there is a few possibilities. If you have recently updated any drivers through windows updates they may have been slightly incorrect and won't let you online. There may also be a switch on the laptop that got turned off. Sometimes the switch isn't a physical switch but a combination of the Fn key and another F key on the top of the keyboard. Refer to the user manual for the machine to see if this applies.
If the machine uses some sort of Wifi card through a cell phone company then there may be something in the configuration tool for that card that got changed. Try uninstalling it then reinstalling it with the drivers disc that came with it. Or just pay your bill.. LOL.

Does't connect to network - search Network

Hi
It sounds like you may have a poor 3G reception in your area. Even though other O2 phones are working better they may be running on the 2G masts in your area.
Try in setting/network menu turning off 3G reception, that way the device will only look for 2G masts. Your handset will give priority to 3G masts where available and sometimes will hold onto the weakest signal making poor call quality, and or dropping connection.
Advantages to using 2G only = better standby and talk time / better reception where 3G is poor.
Disadvantages = Slower web browsing / no video calls.

WEP / WPA will only apply if you are connecting using WI FI and have nothing to do with your mobile network connection.
Hope that helps?
