Question about Car Audio & Video
I only have 2 wires left which are the black wire which has a hook for a screw which is the ground and a blue wire with a white stripe, the end has a clear rubber connector it also has a tag on it that says system remote controll
on the directions it says connect the black wire to the chassis of unpainted metal. what if i can not find metal to attach the ground then where do i connect it to shouldnt i just connect it to the black ground wire of the car?
the blue wire has a connector do i just connect that to the solid blue wire of the car which says power antenna
I'm assuming that you're connecting to a wire harness that you've purchased and not directly to the wires which were plugged into the original Honda radio.
The black ground wire from the Pioneer can be connected to the ground wire on the car. You are correct on the blue/white remote turn-on wire as well - it can be connected to the blue power antenna with no harm. If you were installing any amps the blue/white wire would also go to their remote turn-on input.
