Go to my computer right click on the hard drive then select properties then click on the sharing tab and click on advanced sharing, then click on share this folder then, ok, apply, ok, then click start at the bottom left of the screen, control panel, network and internet, network and sharing center,
then change the following settings.
network discovery= on
public folder sharing=on (password required)
password protected sharing=on
then do the following:
start your media center on your xbox and start the set-up process until you get the extender code, then go to the media center on your PC and go to tasks, then scroll right to add extender click on it and then follow the set-up process
once this has been done successfully you will then be able to share your media with your xbox 360 console.

a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
