Question about Amana AER5715QAS Electric Kitchen Range
While warming up my oven, I heard a loud sizzle and pop. Now the oven will not broil/bake. But the light still works and the cook top works as well.
Check your broil and bake elements for any breaks in the coils.....u can turn off power to unit and remove the 2 srews usually on bake wall that hold element in place and pull out a lil bit and undo connections attached to each side, make sure they dont fall back behind cavity.....or u can pull unit out and remove back panel and check the elements for continuity with a meter.. it osunds like one of the elements burnt out , hope this helps
