This is all Compaq seem's to have for WinXP.

- The notebook was not made to run WinXP. If you still want try to install XP anyways goto this link: http://www.zyxware.com/articles/2008/02/18/compaq-presario-c747tu-laptop-drivers-for-windows-xp

MR.IB4G2008, please understand that there are NO windows_xp at www.hp.com website, don't simply say something you don't have idea about!

I've found all windows_xp driver for the notebook at
http://www.zyxware.com/articles/2008/02/18/compaq-presario-c747tu-laptop-drivers-for-windows-xp :)

log on to :www.zyxware.com/articles/2008/02/21/compaq-presario-c734tu-laptop-drivers-for-windows-xp -. You will get all the drivers ,but the wi-fi driver will not work

hi i had tried a lot but not able to load right audio driver for my notebook

1. Click on Start and select Run. Now type devmgmt.msc and press enter.
2. Right click on "Audio device on High Definition Audio Bus" and click Update driver.
3. Select "Install from a list or specific location"
4. Click Next. Then select "Don't search, I will choose the driver to install"
5. Click Next and then select "Sound, video and game controller" from the list.
6. Click Next and then click Have Disk.
7. Click Browse C:swsetupsp36090 folder and the double click the X32 folder. Select the .inf file, click open and Continue with the onscreen instructions.


but nothing happened and at last it says its not compatiable with ur laptop configuration
