Check the driver is loaded and check the screen resolution (set to a minimum of 1024x768). You can tell if the driver is loaded when you go to adjust the rosolution you will see the Display device.
If the driver is correctly loaded you should also be able to check screen refresh rate.
If all this is correct then try another monitor.
You might also want to run a virus check.

Fuel guage sometimes read empty when there is gas in the tank?

Check that there are no holes in the float. If the fuel is getting into the float, it will give a false reading. Another thing is to check the ground on the float sensor. If it's not connected tightly, it will create a false reading too.

My L194WT -SF WONT WORK NO POWER USED SAME POWER LEAD ON DIFFERENT MONITOR NO PROBLEM

Hello Steve,

The most common problem with the L194WT monitors is a failure of the power supply board. There are parts called capacitors that fail and can cause the issue you have. Sometimes the power light will just flash, sometimes it takes several minutes to display a picture or even a wavy picture, all of these issues indicate a failing power supply board. These boards can be repaired if you can do a little soldering. The L194WT uses the same power board as the L196WTQ and we have a step by step repair guide with dis-assembly instructions available at http://www.ccl-la.com/blog/index.php/lg-l196wtq-bf-lcd-monitor-repair/ Look over the guide and check your board to see if your capacitors have bulged and need to be replaced.

I hope this helps, if so please rate our solution.

Screen is wavy and writing hard to read. We changed monitator

Sometimes this problem is produced because the screen is set up to a display setting to high for the monitor, and there are wavy pictures, and almost impossible to read.
Other trhan that, could be a bad monitor cable.
Hope this helps

In Word 2007 I get a blue wavy line under most of the text like the green wavy line for grammar and the red wavy line for spelling. I think it is to do with formatting but I cannot find how to get rid of...

Hi dtennant

Blue lines indicate that Word has auto-corrected a word. To undo the change move the cursor over the blue line and left click the lightning bolt. Select 'Change back to'. Or to stop Word correcting that word again select 'Stop Automatically Correcting'

Does this help?

Wavy lines, goes black during video games.

It sounds to me like the monitor's refresh rate is too low to support your current settings, and the demands of the game. Have you tried adjusting the refresh rate? If I'm right, you should be able to fix the wavy lines that way. I'm not sure how much control over the refresh rate the game takes, but if you can fix the wavy lines and the game still doesn't work, I think you're not likely to get the game to work on this monitor.
