Question about Wacom Graphire4 6x8
I'm sorry, I'm having such a problem with my Graphire4 tablet and Windows 7. It installs just fine, and the pen works over the workspace but the tracking is wrong and no ammount of setting and restarting will fix this. So I downloaded the Windows 7 driver from the Wacom website, installed it and now my tablet won't even recognise my pen! What's happening? Does anyone know? And does anyone know how I can fix this? Thanks.
A 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
Best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
The service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.

SOURCE: wacom tablet won't read pen
Hello there. Sorry to tell you but no. the graphire and intous pens are 2 different animals. one has 512 levels of sensitivity and the other has 1024 among other things. you have to get a new pen.

I'm just gonna pass on a email from Tech Support I recieved.
"It sounds as though your pen has pressure in proximity. This is present when the tip sensor of your pen is stuck down causing the pen to think that it’s clicking before it’s even touching anything. What you may want to try would be to remove the nib from the tip end of the pen, it pulls straight out with a pair or tweezers or your teeth, and leave that out overnight with the pen left on its side. Place the nib back in the morning and if the issue persists then you may have a defective pen tip."
The rest consists of personal info and warranty advice so I'll leave it there.

Ok so I called costumer service because mine was doing the same thing. Apparently the pressure sensor in the pen is stuck down. What you do is remove the pen tip with tweezers, blow in the open end of pen, then tap the pen (open end down) in a table to get any debris out of there. Then just put the tip back in and give it a try. That did the trick for me. Hope this helps.
