Check the power connector on the bottom of the device. After some time of use the socket does not provide firm seating any more and the Go switches off to preserve battery power (switch off in 10 seconds message). The auto-power off on connection loss can be deactivated, but since battery capacity is extremely poor anyway, it will soon emergency power-off.
I put the power cord over the arm of the mount in a loop (behind the device), so the weight of the cable does not pull out the plug so easily. An alternative car mount is available that has a design similar to the docking stand for PC connectivity. Here, the device rests on the plug and provides better connectivity by its own weight.

Not a heat problem, battery is full. Sometimes get as far as putting in password before screen goes black and shortly after, powers off. Even during a system test it goes off. please advise

Does this happen when the AC adapter is in use? It could be the hard drive not loading in the operating system or the coin cell battery has become depleted .

Truck when it gets hot or after driving about 15 miles it will star to cut out or miss. Sometimes you can shut it off and start back up and it will run fine

I would start by checking your ignition system, mainly the ignition coil. Sometimes when they get hot they fail and when they cool down they work properly. I would also check to see if the fuel pump may be overheating as well. Connect a fuel pressure guage to the system and watch the fuel pressure after you drive it. When it starts to act up if the fuel pressure goes wild you will have your answer.

It comes on and a yellow light flashes and then it goes back off

Take the hard drive out of the system and then put it back in. Sometimes the yellow light comes on because the hard drive becomes unseated.

Try turning on the system and if the yellow light comes on, try another hard drive in the PS3.

If the yellow light still comes on then you know that the main board in the ps3 is bad.

This is about my xbox 360 when i turn it on with the hard drive in it goes to a black screen and says system error in several different languages and a red light come on on the counsel and when i take out...

E68 error? If so, turn off system, take off hard drive, put hard drive back on (good and tight) and turn system back on. Repeat a few times, sometimes it takes me 3 or 4 tries.

XP won't load onto hard drive.

Start the computer and press the f8 key as if to start in sage mode, but select the "Disable system reboot on error" (not sure of the exact wording on that). Then when the BSOD hits it will stay there so you can get the error number and message.

Alot of times these are memory errors so I would also suggest that you download a program called memtest 86. It is a small ISO file that will create a bootable cd to test the memory. You can get it from:

http://www.memtest86.com/download.html

Hope this helps

Power on

This sounds like it could be a faulty laptop battery. I would suggest plugging the system into AC power and then remove the laptop battery from the system. If the system boots then the issue is with the battery. If the laptop still does not boot, next thing to check would be to make sure that the hard drive is seated completely in the drive bay. Sometimes the hard drives can work themselves loose from moving around. By opening the drive cover and pulling the drive out and then reseating back into its slot can sometimes resolve the issue as well.
