Oven won't work says PF

Hello lornalang - Typically "PF" indicates power failure. Once again try reprogramming the range by either unplugging it or flipping the household circuit breaker off. Wait approximately ten minutes and restart unit. If it proves to be ineffective, the range may possibly be experiencing a wiring failure or faulty EOC. Consult a professional to move forward accurately and to assist with the repairs.

I had power failure and my oven nor broiler won't

Have you checked the circuit breaker associated with this portion of your electrical panel? Do you have any power to the unit? Does the clock illuminate?

I went to do a self clean on my oven and I opened the door right as it was trying to lock. The door was open when it locked so the lock is out and now I can't shut the oven door. I tried turning off...

give this a try:

  1. Disconnect power from unit for a couple of minutes.
  2. Re-apply power.
  3. Press and hold any key down for 1 minute to clear F5 failure code from memory. F2 will appear. Press CANCEL and observe for 1 minute to ensure operation is correct.
If this does not work, let me know what error code appears on the display. It should have be an F code with 1 or 3 numbers.
