You will need to remove the engine's valve cover at the rear of engine to remove the blower motor, also replace the blower motor resistor while you are in there.

After running my 1996 pontiac bonneville for about 30 mins the car begins to **** and the idle gauge jumps. I was told it was the cadiylitic converter but the normal mechanic i use said that its not...

Check your plugs, black and sooty is too rich, glazed and grey is too lean. If OK then the feedback from the cat is OK too. Do a voltage check on the crank shaft sensor, if open circuit then change it. Check voltage when cold and every three minutes while engine is warming up. If the voltage begins to drop then the sensor is near dead so change it.

1996 bonneville keeps missing what about MAP sensor ? MAS replaced Plugs replaced throotle posistion sensor also

have you isolated what cylinder is causing the misfire . You need to check the coils for proper spark at each plug. If you have spark then you will need to check each injector for proper fuel. you can do this by unplugging each injector one at a time to try to isolate which cylinder the missfire is on
or you can have your local parts store scan the car and tell you what code is stored . Most misfire with cause a service engine soon light to come on if the light is on then there is a code store .

1996 pontiac bonneville wont start has no headlights but does have interior lights. had starter tested was told it was fine. battery is also fine. makes a clunk when i try to start it then nothing. have...

see if you can turn the motor with a ratchet or breaker bar and socket, if you cannot turn it relatively easy you may have a locked up engine, if you can turn it then replace the starter anyway, bench testing is not an accurate way of telling what a component will do when installed in the vehicle. the louder the "clunk" the higher the likelyhood of the locked up motor

1996 pontiac bonneville wont start and headlights wont work

If you don`t have any lights on in the instrument panel then try getting a jump start. If it starts then have your battery and charging system checked. If you do have lights in the I.P.then make sure your getting power to the starter.Good luck.

NY 1996 Pontiac Bonneville SSEi diagnostic trouble codes P0301 and P1441

Since it is a 1996, you probably have high miles on it.
Most cars after 100,000 miles or so are automatically set to have the check engine light come on.
