Which is the Fn key on the keyboard. I can't locate. My keyboard doesnot have it. Please help.

Normally there is a switch on the side or front that turns the wireless on. The FN function key located at the lower left portion of the keyboard toggles the wireless on and off if the switch is on. Normally you would Press and Hold the Fn function key then hit the correct F1 thru F12 key that toggles the wireless. The correct F1 thru F12 key to hit will have the wireless signal icon )))) on it. Or it will have the icon of a tower with the wireless signal )))).

Hook a external keyboard to the laptop, if all functions checkout. The keyboard in the laptop will need to be replaced..

The Fn key is located at the bottom left of your keyboard when pressed down you have access to other features on your keyboard if you look closely F buttons located on the top of your keyboard see the little pictures well pressing the one of the F1,2,3,4 activates the usual features but when you press the Fn key and then press one of the F buttons it does something else like turning your wi-fi on or off activates dual monitors or projector, turns on or off your touch pad. if there is anything else please ask If i have helped please rate me Kronoguy

I have an Acer lap top and there is an Fn (function key) Icon on the <i and the i> keys that mimic a sun device. If you hold down the Fn key and tap the I> key down over on the right sideof the machine, then those taps should brighten the screen. Holding down the Fn key (left side) and tapping the <i key will dim the screen.

fn keys are only on laptops

Fn key is bottom left of keyboard, volume keys (up and down arrows) are bottom right.

Look carefully on your "Function" keys example, F1, F2, F3 to F12 that are located above your keyboard. On each function keys, there is an icon. One of those is wi-fi. Find which function key has the wi-fi icon then find key to activate those functions. It is called "Fn" key (located in the bottom of your keyboard near "Ctrl" or "Alt"). Now press and hold "Fn" + "F#" then release. This should turn on your wi-fi. On mine, I have wi-fi on "F8" so I would press "Fn" + "F8".

On standard qwerty keyboards in the US the @ symbol is almost always located on top of the 2 key. Using shift usually helps. If your @ symbol is located somewhere else, try using the FN key on the lower left corner of the keyboard. If you don't have a FN key, can you please provide the model of your HP Mini?

you should be holding down the "fn" key not the shift key.

The fn key is normally located on the bottom row of the keyboard.
