Question about Philips DVP642 DVD Player
There may be a problem with the lens. I would first use a DVD disc cleaner. This cleaner looks just like a disc with some extra little brushes on its surface. Some DVD cleaner kits even come with supplies to clean and modify scratches on your discs. You may have dust on the lens. Also look at each DVD you load into your player, if it has fingerprints, dust, or a scratch it will not load. Click on the link below to view cleaner kit:
