Should the printer be on or off when downloading driver?

Hi there
It not mater as long as you got the USB lead that comes out your printer is out, then put your driver in to the Pc and install and at same stage as it loading in to your PC it will ask you to put the lead in.

But can I say Remember that the driver you put in is for the right windows you are using because with the new windows 7 and Vista not all driver will work for them so you need the right one foe the your system.
