Question about Dell E173FP 17" LCD Monitor
It has bad caps ..plain and simple ... there are 6 of them that go bad and you may lose the 5volt line or the 12 volt line or both which results in A. no display at all OR the display does work and you can see with the flashlight trick OR B. both lines down which will result in no image nor any backlight at all ... as far as the 6 caps ? i will have to look at my notes and then will post locations and mfd / voltage of the failed caps..
