Question about Coleman Sport 1850 Generator
Have you read manual thoroughly, as some will explain in there what and what not as far as power tools go, that it will run. Some models of generators, aren't designed for that much load at start up etc. Maybe if you can give me exact/complete model number I can figure it out from there, once I see actual rated specs.

Your generator is rated at 2000 watts at from each 120V line. At 240V it will supply the full 4000 watts. That said, use a volt meter to check the output from each outlet. If it is less than 1900 watts per leg you mmay need an engine tuneup [new plugs, new air filter] OR you may have a partially gummed up carburator. I recommend that you begin by getting a bottle of a fuel additive called Seafoam. Follow the directions to add the correct amount. Run a tank of treated gas through the generator and the engine will run up to it's potential. IF at that point you still don't have the wattage you should you will have to check the breaker and the wiring connections. Regards, Joe
