Question about Honeywell Electronic Programmable Heat/Cool Thermostat - CT3300A100 Heater
I've had the system for a year and a half, and until recently, it worked fine. Now I sometimes hear a banging noise when the unit stops running. Otherwise, it's fine.
Have you replaced your air filter recently? Often this is a symptom of a restricted return. The blower almost causes a vacuum in the duct work, and when the system shuts down the duct "pop" back out, causing this banging noise. Hope this helps
