Question about Canon MultiPASS F60 All-In-One InkJet Printer

Canon F60 Check Printing

Hi, I seem to be having the same problem as the others who have the "Check Printer" issue, however, when I try to reset the ink count, it keeps flashing between that and the "purge flag" option. Once, through some unknow action of mine, I got it to set on the ink count option, I hit clear, and then nothing happened. My printer has never told me what's wrong. I'm just guessing that it is the ink well issue. Should it actually say that? Is there a code I should be looking for? This all started because it wouldn't recognize the full ink cartridges I put in. Help!

I am trying to get my Canon Multipass F60 to work with my new computer...HP w/ windows 7...any answers? I really need a driver!

I've checked and you can't. Canon don not spport Win7 with this printer so you will have to replace it.

You should also check any other periferals you have using the Win7 compatability wizard available from Microsoft.

Canon F60 Multiprinter printing random light lines.

I had a case just like yours where the printer wasn't in use for some months because there was a second, better printer to use instead. So when the abandoned one was to be used again, it was no longer salvageable. And I tried cleaning it and maintaining it doing everything in the book to make it work again but no matter what I did, it ended up in the garbage bin after all my wasted time and effort. I'm sorry. I wish I had better news for you but I'm speaking from experience. Yours might be a write-off too in which case you are better off to just buy a better one.

Cannon multipass F60 scanner/printer striped color printing

What you have is a dried up color cartridge. You can try to use the <clean print heads> in the diagnostic tools section of you priner software. (usually, just try to print something & the window will appear) Sometimes you have to clean heads, then print test page like 2 or 3 times before it clears up. If that doesn't correct it, don't worry. Have your color cartridge filled (staples, office depot, & other stores do it cheap) - or - replace it with a new cartridge. You may have to run the clean print heads program after installing a new cartridge, but this will definitely fix your problem.

Alarm light on. F80

This worked for me on an F60 and someone else on an F30. Re: Check Printer error message on Canon MultiPass by watsonk (6/7/05 11:16 PM) reply + / - It could be due to "waste tank full" alarm; you may need to reset the waste tank counter. I found a reset sequence for a MP730 printer in this website that works for F30 as well. Try: Resetting the Waste Ink Volume Counter 1) Enter SERVICE MODE.--- By pressing Menu-Copy-# 2) Select TEST MODE. 3) Select [8] PRINTER TEST in TEST MODE. 4) Select 3. [EEPROM CLEAR]. 5) Select 0. [INK COUNT]. 6) Press the [OK] key. 7) Press the [Stop/Reset] key (returning to the state of 3)), and then press the [ON/OFF] key. Skip step (6) since there is no [OK] key on F30 printers.

Canon f60

before you clean your printer head, try identify if there're other problems, for example maybe your ink is running low, this will cause bad quality printing. To clean your printer go to control panel, click printers and other hardware, click printers, right click on your printer icon and select properties, click on the tab maintenance and you will see what options are availible. In your case my look for something said cleaning. (NB: this is winXP)
