Hp officejet 5600 want print or fax. Please help

a big problem is scaning,fax and printout

well... check the telephone cable or conector...Rj11 conectors...

Try the UPC Code or look on the bottom of the machine.

If you need Vista drivers for your printer, go to HP.com to get them and see if that works.

here are the things that i want you to follow to somehow resolve your issue.

1. On your computer, click on start then go to control panel
2. inside control panel open the PRINTERS and FAXES (XP) or PRINTER (VISTA).
3. make sure change the default printer icon to the HP Officejet 5600 series.
- right click HP Officejet 5600 series and choose "set as default printer"
4. then try printing,

note: the reason why you encounter that problem is because the default printer icon is the "HP officejet 5600 series fax".

u can press set up go to advanced fax set or basic fax set up and then go to fax logg > press ok on that .
u can get the details of the last 10 or 15 faxes.
