This is a bread machine, I do not know why it says sewing machine...I did not submit that as the appiance.

The machine unit is fine, I tried to lightly put my finger in the gear without the pan in place and it was real strong. My issue is with the pan.. Do you know how to take appart the post where the paddles attach because they do not turn easily? I do not see any plastic gears anywhere.

There are no plastic gears. The bowl has rods that come up to turn the paddles and they are tough to turn, they need to be cleaned out. The bread ingredient clog them up.

It does not unscrew, I definately would have tried that first.

Probably stripped the one gear. One gear is made out of plastic so that if there is an unusual load (excessive load) on the motor, instead of the motor burning out, it breaks the gear. You need to open up the unit, confirm that you have a broken gear and then call the manufacturer so that they can send you a new part.

Let me know how this works out for you.

You need to start from the bottom of the unit to get the post off. Have you gotten the paddle off yet? You should do that first.

Have you not gotten the paddle out yet? It WILL detach, just unscrew it from the rod and you can then clean everything off. inside where the bread goes.

    It should pop right off

I have a singer 2000 athena sewing machine, the problem is that: it stops about 1 inch then sews and stops again, do you know what is the problem before i take it to a repair shop?

Sounds like the feed control stepper motor is not functioning properly. Could be the motor it self or the power transistor on the main board. Either way machine is beyond economic repair.

Viking Serger has power but the motor won't work

Does the handwheel turn? I had a 920 that bound up so badly that the motor didn't have enough power to turn it. Resolved by taking it apart, Cleaning out all rotating bearings on the main shaft, and relubricating.

HV mega quilter hand wheel won't turn and it won't turn on

it could be the switch or motor, it would be a good idea to have the machine checked

My Shark 7133 slowed down while sewing and stopped. The handwheel won't turn at all. I cleaned the bobbin area but it still won't work. The light switches on and the machine motor reves up but...

Slacken the stop motion as if to wind a bobbin and press on the foot control, if the motor runs really fast then you have either thread stuck in the bobbin case area or you may need to oil the machine

My serger won't start. Motor is running but won't turn. Also wheel wont turn

Hi, On most of these newer machines they have a clutch that you engage to fill the bobins.
Please make sure that the clutch is disengaged for normal use. If this is all OK see that belt
is attached on motor.

Brother XL-4012

ok,,when you press the foot peddle you will hear a continuous noise like a motor running that means its not the foot peddle, if not peddle is dying or motor carbon brushes are worn, this is a simple fix, we just need to narrow it down

It the same problem, needle does not move up and down

The motor is defective. If it's used or older, cleaning the motor with compressed air or vacuum might work if its very dusty.
