Question about Cell Phones

Phone turns off browsing internet

I have an LG Cookie KP500, when I'm surfing the internet if I hit certain buttons(like hitting the search button on search engines, or hitting 'yes' when prompted to save a password on my facebook or not) the phone automatically turns itself off, then back on. it also does this when I exit the browser. is this something I can fix/get fixed?

In the settings of the internet we choose (wap) or (mms)

I would choose "WAP" because this will give you a better browsing experience.

Internet connection

Hi Joanne.

Your Virgin Home network I am guessing is wireless???

This may be a big problem.

The KP500 Cookie is not a WiFi enabled handset so connecting to ANY Wireless internet connection is NOT going to happen. Sorry!

When you search manually for a Network what you are actually doing is searching for another mobile phone network.

The mobile phone network is the only way the cookie can connect to the internet.

Maximum limit applications reached ( LG cookies)

When you see that push the middle button. then tap the purple arrow in the top right corner and hit end all. I'm still trying to figure out a way to to allow more applications. But it's certainly better than having to turn your phone off. hope this helped it's my first comment :^)
