When I installed the washer, I put a small plastic tray under the place where the water hookup is so I could check and make sure there we no leaks. It wasn't in the way of anything so I left it there. When I had the time, I removed the kick panel and the tray. The next time we used the machine, the noise was gone. I wish all my problems could be solved this easily!

Fan blades touching

From what you say, either the fan blades are not made for that fan or more probably someone got a replacement light fixture kit and it's not compatible. Is there a possibility that you can adjust the angle of the light fixture, i.e. are there 3-4 small lights that can be angled?

It sounds like the shutdown is due to the card overheating. Does your card have a fan on it? If so that is probably where the buzzing noise came from. The fan either broke or is disconnected and thus the card is overheating. Try blowing out the fan with compressed air and making sure it is properly connected. If it is broken or you have no fan you may need to order a replacement fan or heat sync to fix your problem or get a new video card.

My Lennox ac is making a very loud buzzing sound and the fan blades are not turning. We replaced the dual capacitor and that seemed to fix the problem for a couple of days, now it's doing the same...

Fan motor is probably bad, if it is under 5 years old the parts are under warranty. Do not run the unit for very long without the fan working as it can damage the compressor.

I have a new lg window air conditioner that is buzzing loudly when the compressor turns on. as soon as the compressor shuts off it stops buzzing. the buzzing noise also sounds like a playing card attached...

sounds as though the contactor is not pulling in tightly. but it also spunds as though the fan or fans might be hitting some thing . check them out shut the unit down and spin the fans and see if you hear something. if not then it could well be a contator .. But as I think a bit more could be lose fan, or compressor is not setting on it isloator bushings .

Annoying buzzing sound from my Dell Intel Pentium 4

Open the case and inspect all the fans: Power Supply, CPU, Chipset
and Case. Make sure they are all spinning freely and unobstructed.
Cable(s) or wire(s) touching the fan blades can be the source of
annoying sounds.

I turn on the fan in the bathroom and as the fan gains speed, I hear a clicking sound as it the fan blades were hitting something, and it sounded like it was solid. So I took off the grille and the light...

Are you tightening the grill to the point that it is pulling itself up to touch the fan or is it pulling something down to touch the fan? I would take the grill off and with the fan running, pull and push on the points that hold the grill in place and see if that action causes the fan to click. If it does, you need to trouble shoot from there. If not, an exorcisim might be in order.

Do the blades spin freely? If not, something may have fallen into the motor, jamming the blades. That would cause this. Also, make sure there is a good connection at the wire that feeds power to the fan motor (usually black, blue is the light) Good luck.

The freezer is making a loud buzz sound that stops when I open the door.

Could be the evaporator fan motor about to fail or the evap fan blade touching something. If the fan is controlled by a door switch, opening the door would deactivate the motor and the noise would stop. Depress the door switch and see if you can locate the exact source of the noise.
