Question about Bose 901 VI Main / Stereo Speaker
I am doing a project for a class at my high school and i need to fix a Mitsubishi M-A4370 stereo amplifier that i was told was struck by lightning. i am not sure what to even look for or where to begin...anyone got any advice? sorry about the Bose tag too...i couldn't get a mitsubishi tag but any help would be much appreciated
I would have thought it will become obvious from the burnt parts and broken parts inside the amp, if it was struck by lighting, when you take the top off. But clearly unless it has an aerial connection, it will have to be from the mains lead that lighting went in to the unit, so a good look around the power supply section, I think first.
To be honest depending on the damage if you fix this one they should give you top marks!
Many service people would say no-chance!
