I found 2 different part numbers for this housing, but I suspect that they are actually stock numbers for the different stores. calls it their PN PS328166. calls it their PN AP3085317. Take your pick from whom you want to buy it, or look for another vendor. I did an internet search for appliance parts to find these two vendors.

Filter head leaking water

Unfortunatly the model you provided was missing a letter at the end located before the ss. I can still answer your question though and provide you with part numbers that will help. From the sound of it, the filter housing has taken damage, usually from the temperature in the refrigerator being set low and the housing in direct path of the air coming from the freezer which essentially cools the refrigerator. This air causes the water in the filter to freeze and expand therefore cracking the plastic. So you'll either need to replace the filter housing, pt # wr17x11618 or # wr17x11920 and the filter or to prevent this reoccurence replace the housing and place a filter cap pt# wr02x11705 and just put a filter inline with the water supply line behind the fridge.

My Whirlpool duet washer has a cracked front plasitic clear door that I need replaced. Where can I order this? The handle just cracked at bottom of screw. That also needs replacement.

Go to Sears's website and access parts direct section. Type in your make and model and scroll through the results. You should find diagrams, cut sheets and part numbers to ease the ordering.

How do i repair oil filter housing leak?

The oil is most likely leaking from the oil cooler seal. The oil cooler is the square aluminum piece that the oil filter screws onto. To replace the seal, remove the filter, remove both coolant hoses that attach to the cooler, remove the nut that secures the cooler to the block and slide the cooler off the tube. Replace the rubber o-ring seal which is available at the VW dealer. It's inexpensive. Replace everything in reverse order. Good luck!

I replaced my Whirlpool Ultraease Undersink Filtration filter model WHEEDF and th Filter 1 of the pair of filters leaks. I have applied teflon tape to the threaded pin of the mounting unit and the leaks...

I would shut water off and relieve pressure. Remove filter houseing and inspect rubber gasket on bath sides, clean it off and clean inside of cap where gasket sets and on top of housing. Make sure there are no rough spot on either surface. If there are you can smooth them out by using fine grit sandpaper,no coarser then 120 grit. Wipe all surfaces clean and apply 5-6 wraps of teflon tape on threads on filter housing. Before you put gasket back in place you can put a light coating of petroleum jelly, vaseiline or similar,on both sides of gasket. wipe off excess. Reinstall filter and housing. tighten securely. Turn water back on and check for leaks. If it still leaks you can tighten a little more. If it still leaks I would replace gasket. Hope this helps. Thanks

Replace filter light is on. Where is it?

Your filter is located on the bottom behind the toe-kick plate.
Unscrew it and pull it out.
Install the new filter and tighten it.

Refrigerator gushing water through ice maker filter

Filters themselves don't usually leak. Check full insertion of filter, cracked filter housing or cracked supply line.

Water filter compartment leaking

If you have already replaced the filter and you can see the housing is still leaking, You have to replace the housing and water tank as an assembly (12956202). Make sure you verify it's the filter housing leaking, and not a fitting at the water valve which is right behind the plastic cover around and below the filter housing.
