Probably a broken belt. To replace it you must remove the drum. Start by removing the lint filter. and the 2 phillip screws in the lint filter cousing. Then use a flat blade putty knife to pop the top. Raise up the front and sit it out the way. Grab the drum and remove it. Oil the rollers with non flammable oil. I use zoom-oil. Vacuum out the dryer. The new belt will probably be a part# 341241. Ribbed side goes down on the drum. It is best to get a friend to hold the drum up so you can install the idler. The idler goes into the floor with the pulley to the left. Raise up the idler and insert the belt under the idler wheel and onto the motor pully. I have photos HERE

Dryer wont shut off unless turned off and dryer just tumbles with no heat.

If it won't turn off or heat then it is probably the timer or if it is a newer unit the control board.

I have a fridgedaire front load dryer (Model AEQ6700FS0) and it will start up, run for about 30 seconds and then it stops tumbling and the 3 lights on the far right (drying, cooldown, extended tumble)...

This is just a guess in a way, as I don't have specific knowledge about your particular model, but could it be a wrinkle prevention feature? I know some dryers have a feature which will cycle the dryer on for an occasional short tumble if the regular cycle ends and the clothes have not been removed. Opening the door might be all it takes to cancel the function.

My gas dryer won't tumble or heat

sounds like a few things are wrong/ needs checked, will not tumble is usually the belt, no heat is usually a thermal fuse if the pilot light is lit. Here is a website that will assist you Tim:

My creda reverseair tumberledryer won';t work. my

Hi

If you can hear the motor running and have also checked the belt tension and they are O.K., then the only thing I can think of is the Motor pulley, where the belt sits on.

Check that out and make sure it is not loose on the motor shaft, so that the motor turns but the pulley slips.

Regards
Ash
