Question about SanDisk Sansa m240 MP3 Player

Synching songs to Sansa m240

I got a new Sansa m240 and I'm trying to transfer songs from my Windows Media Player to the m240. I've connected the m240 through the USB cable from my laptop to the m240. The m240 is on and hooked up. I "synched" the songs from the library and the Windows media player indicated the songs were transferred but the m240 did nothing during the synch and no songs are on the m240. What am I doing wrong? Thanks.

YOU MIGHT NOT HAVE SYNCED RIGHT....YOU MIGHT NEED TO DRAG AND DROP YOUR FILES OR CONSIDER GETTING A SANDISK E200 OR A CX00 VERSION MP3 THEY ARE MUCH EASIER TO WORK WITH

I can't get the songs downloaded from my Windows Media Center to the sansa m240 MP3

Once your MP3 player is connected to the computer, open Windows Media Player. Click on the "Sync Music" tab. Drag songs that you want from your Windows Media Library over to the "Sync Music" column to create a playlist. Click the "Begin Sync" tab at the bottom once you have all of the songs on your playlist. This action will sync all of the songs to your MP3 player with one click. Disconnect your device once songs have been transferred by clicking on the "Safely Remove Hardware" icon in the bottom-right side of the desktop tray.

Deleting unwanted songs

The Sansa M200 series devices do not allow deletion of downloaded content directly from the device. You must connect he device to PC/Mac via USB to delete downloaded content. You will also need to use media software such as Windows Media Player, Rhapsody, iTunes, etc.. to see all of the music content on the player to be able to delete the songs you don't want. (i.e. just viewing the device in Windows Explorer might not show everything that is on he player.)
