I have a TouchScreen CF T2 panasonic and enabling the wifi lan in the bios setup causes xp to reboot when the lan detects a wifi connexion. If there ain't no available wifi connexion around, xp works fine... Some idea about ? Thanks

Touch screen doesnt work on my cf-29

Your Model CF29NWQGZBM the letter "W" indicates that this is a T/S (TouchScreen) Model.

Please verify that the "TouchScreen" is "Enabled" under the BIOS. I recently purchased about a dozen CF29's where there were absolutely NO scratches on the LCD. The reason WHY was because the TouchScreen had been DISABLED at the BIOS level.

I can also share with you another experience I had recently. I purchased approx. 15x CF29 models and every single unit had a defective TouchScreen. When I called Panasonic Canada I was told that since the units were no longer under the three year manufacturer warranty there was nothing they could do about it but that they were aware of this defect and it was a known defect.

I hope this information helps.

How do i enable touchscreen on panasonic toughbook cf 30ctqazbm

The first thing I would try on any Panasonic Toughbook with touchscreen would be to enter the BIOS upon start-up by pressing the "F2" function key. When you are in the BIOS, there is a setting on the 2nd screen tab "Main" which says "Touchscreen:". This should be set to "Enable" instead of Disable. Then you press the "F10" function key and the message: "Save configuration changes and exit now?". Press "Yes" and the toughbook will reboot and your Touchscreen will be enabled at the BIOS level.

Good Luck!

Cf-30 disable touchscreen

On all Panasonic Toughbook Notebooks,
you must get into the BIOS by pressing
the F2 Function key when you turn on the
Toughbook as it is booting. Press F2 repeatedly.
This must be done in the 1-2 seconds before
Windows starts to load. Then you will see
Touchscreen usually on the 2nd page with the
word "Enable". Simply select enable and press
"Enter" and the choice between enable and disable
will appear. Then select "Disable" with the cursor
and then press Enter. Finally you need to
"Save and Exit" the changes in the BIOS.
That is it. Good Luck to you.

How can I enable wireless for none wireless module of CF-R8?

I suggest staying away from BIOS flashing. Last thing you want is a brick.

In Win 7 - Go to Start > Control Panel > Network and Internet > Network and Sharing > Manage network connections. Enable the wireless card.

In XP - Go to Start > Control Panel > Network Connections. Enable the wireless card.

Can not install os, computer says no hard disk installed

This laptop has a SATA hard drive.
The problem is that XPinstallation CD does not have a SATA driver, unless you have a SATA drive on adisk etc. and can install the driver when XP asks for a hard drive driver then,XP cannot detect the hard disk and therefore won't install XP.The FIX.Go into the BIOS anddisable the SATA drive (enable IDE emulation), this will make XP think it is aIDE/PATA hard disk. Then you can install XP normally. When Windows hasbeen installed then install all the device drivers (including the SATA driver),then shut down and boot up and got into the BIOS and enable the SATA drive.

SD wifi

I would rather go for CF wifi card, because Panasonic doesn't states that this one has SDIO type slot. If you use CF slot you will have to find WIFI card cover - it's different one - it will allow to close top cover with the card inside.

There was also two models:

  • CF-P1P1CDZ6J - Bluetooth / wireless LAN built-in
  • CF-P1P1CZZ6J - Built-in wireless LAN-model
